Account Director – Consumer

Well known C London based PR agency seeks talented Account Director to work on some cool consumer campaigns spanning lifestyle, youth, fast cars, drinks, healthy living and more.
The work spans both UK and EMEA remits so experience of working across both would be essential. One minute you could be devising an international strategic to get countries rolling out lifestyle campaigns and the next positioning a leading drinks brand to teens, festival goers and busy workers on the go!
The campaign work is hugely varied and exciting so this role would suit someone who is a generalist with experience of working on lots of different consumer brands.
Role Objective:
• Management of balance between fee, task and time to ensure programmes are profitably run and completed to client satisfaction
• Quality control
• Day to day senior client contact, keeping them on track with programme delivery and results. Provide consultancy to clients regarding current programmes
• Inputs into creative and strategic direction of client programmes, providing insight and counsel with confidence and credibility, under the guidance of ASDs/Board
• Negotiates and secures programmes/ projects and budgets with clients, as approved by ASD/Board
• Principle point of contact for the client, ensuring they are kept on track re. strategy and programme delivery including trusted counsel, flagging issues and troubleshooting where necessary
• Eeks out opportunities for growing the business by proactively providing exciting comms solutions that are profitable yet likely to make Lexis and the client famous
• Manages, coaches and mentors team, providing regular positive and constructive feedback, and giving clear direction on all aspects of client programmes

Person Specification:
• Large agency experience, working in a large matrixed team
• Knowledge and experience of digital and social media campaigns desirable
• Challenges current assumptions, thinking, ways of working and uses initiative to effect change
• Demonstrates drive, ambition and hunger to succeed
• Personally generates exciting campaign ideas using a variety of techniques
• Shares ideas and inspires creativity within the team, effectively using and building on their ideas
• Effectively contributes to wider agency thinking to bring about ideas for new products/services. Demonstrates entrepreneurial flair. Uses initiative
• Demonstrates high level oral and written communication, charismatic presentation skills and listening skills
