Account Manager – Corporate

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the corporate team in this global agency with a boutique friendly family feel. The corporate team is hugely successful within the company and this is a highly coveted role working with some truly talented people across some fascinating, high profile clients.

Clients span a number of sectors including financial services, technology, retail, govt and FMCG.

You will be doing everything from crisis and issues management to CSR work, stakeholder engagement, profiling etc – lots of great case study work, media relations, and writing a huge variety of different materials.

You will need to be operating at Account Manager level within a known UK/London agency, with corporate experience and have worked on big brands. Experience of working in technology, retail, aerospace/defence, financial services, food/drink, retail or ecommerce would be fantastic.

You will be someone who likes to build and nurture client relationships and you will have the ability to develop strategies and activities for clients that pack a punch.

The Role:

You will be working within the team to undertake the following responsibilities:
•Trusted advisor to clients, taking an interest in clients’ business objectives and sector knowledge
•Proactively demonstrate fresh-thinking and added value to the client delivering organic business growth
•Excellence in all verbal and written communication
•Liaising and pitching ideas and news angles on a regular basis to media and bloggers
•Evaluating work with a focus on KPIs and putting together client reviews and proposals
•Research for digital ideas, strategies and campaigns
•Participate in New Business pitches, taking a key role in presentations

Essential Skills:
•Superb verbal and written communication skills along with a high attention to detail
•Excellent and proven account management skills including the ability to prepare strategic action plans, reviews, proposals, presentations and budgets
•An entrepreneurial spirit with a thirst for learning, growing and developing
•Highly organised with the ability to hit the ground running and meet project timelines
